Sperm quality biomarkers from common carp (Cyprinus carpio) in spring and fall 2010 from Lake Mead, Arizona and Nevada, USA
Reproductive condition of male fish is reflected by gonadal tissues and cell quality biomarkers. Common Carp from locations in the Lake Mead National Recreation Area in 2010 were collected, the biological characteristics of sperm and testicular tissues were analyzed from male fish. Raw data are provided in the form of flow cytometry files and other scored data from microscopy. Data are provided on sperm viability, mitochondrial function, cell count, motility, apoptosis, morphology, DNA fragmentation, and reproductive stage.
