Ninety-two XBT were expended from USS MARYSVILLE during the period 15 November - 5 December, 1969, from which 86 good records resulted. The data from XBT stations and sound velocimeter stations were sent by radio message format BATHY or HISTD daily as obtained on PARKA cruises to PARKA Headquarters for retransmission to Fleet Numerical Weather Central. The original records of XBT and sound velocimeter stations were required to be turned in, upon completion of each cruise, to PARKA Headquarters, where they passed into the custody of Mr. K. W. Lackie, Code 037, U. S. Naval Oceanographic Office.
