X-Ray diffraction of titanium dioxide nanoparticles and their inhibition of marine diatom growth

Published by U.S. EPA Office of Research and Development (ORD) | U.S. Environmental Protection Agency | Metadata Last Checked: June 27, 2025 | Last Modified: 2018-11-27
The XRD text files show counts per second of X-ray diffraction as a function of diffraction angle for six nanomaterials: industrial TiO2, toothpaste TiO2, sunscreen TiO2 and these materials after algae toxicity test. Figure 1 in TiO2 paper shows the raw data for the inhibition (%) as a function of time (h) for the nanomaterials at 5 mg/L concentration. This dataset is associated with the following publication: Galletti, A., S. Seo, S.H. Joo, C. Su, and P. Blackwelder. Effects of titanium dioxide nanoparticles derived from consumer products on the marine diatom Thalassiosira pseudonana. ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE AND POLLUTION RESEARCH.
