Water temperature, salinity, velocity, and other chemical and physical parameters taken by CTD and ADCP from the research vessel Kaiyo-Maru from 2018-05-29 through 2018-06-20 in the North Pacific Ocean and Philippine Sea. U.S. State Department Marine Science Research (MSR) agreements allow foreign research vessels into U. S. waters in exchange for receipt and public access of the oceanographic measurements collected. The data are submitted through the World Data System - Oceanography hosted at NCEI and disseminated publicly. This dataset belongs to the U.S. State Dept. MSR Program, U2018-001, via the World Data Service - Oceanography. Data are in xls, csv, and text formats. The final cruise report is in PDF.
