This dataset contains water temperature, salinity, oxygen, currents and others chemical and biological parameters taken by CTD, Niskin bottles, and ADCP from the research vessel Ryofu Maru, cruise 11-08, in the North Pacific Ocean. Cruise RF11-08 was carried out during the period from July to September, 2011. Hydrographic observation was made using a Sea-Bird Electronics (SBE) 36 position carousel equipped with 10-liter Niskin water sample bottles, a CTD system (SBE911plus) equipped with JFE Advantech oxygen sensor (RINKO III) along longitude 165 degree East. Water samples were analyzed for salinity, dissolved oxygen, nutrients, pH and phytopigment (chlorophyll-a and phaeopigments. Currents were measured by ship-mounting Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler. These data are part of the World Data Service and US State Department Marine Research Data U2011-004. Data are in PDF.
