The water depth and temperature data was collected as part of Global Temperature- Salinity Pilot Project (GTSPP) from HMAS Cook by the Australian Oceanographic Data Center, Potts point, New South Wales, Australia. The data was collected from November 28, 1988 to December 10, 1988. The originator's bathythermograph (XBT) data file was submitted by Mr. Andrew L. Walsh in GTSPP format via FTP.
