Plants of any type below 1 MW (e.g. residential solar) are not included. Hydroelectric plants of 30 MW and less are considered renewable energy sources in California. Hydroelectric plants over 30 MW are non-renewable. Counties without pie symbols had no utility scale renewable electric generation for the year.
