This data set and accompanying metadata is part of a larger data release for a Mark-Release-Recapture Trial conducted on the Island of Hawai'i between October and December 2020. The data consists of daily, adult mosquito capture numbers from individual traps spread over a 3.142 square kilometer trapping area in a rainforest of mixed native and non native vegetation. Mosquitoes were captured in three different trap types: BioGents Sentinel II traps baited with CO2 and BG-Lure, CDC miniature light traps with LED lights and baited with CO2, and CDC gravid mosquito traps baited with a 5-day-old infusion of timothy grass in water.
