Uncrewed aerial system aeromagnetic test survey at the Boulder Magnetic Observatory -processed data

Published by U.S. Geological Survey | Department of the Interior | Metadata Last Checked: July 16, 2025 | Last Modified: 20220321
These datasets contain the processed data for four very low-altitude, repeat uncrewed aerial vehicle aeromagnetic surveys over a test site located at the Boulder Magnetic Observatory near Boulder, CO. The surveys span an area of approximately 150 x 150 m, with the central area of 100 x 100 m as the primary focus of the investigation. These data were acquired September 25, 2019, by Juniper Unmanned, working under contract to the U.S. Geological Survey. The nominal flying heights were 25 and 40 m. Flight lines were spaced 8 m apart and directed north-south; tie lines were spaced 24 m apart and directed east-west. A total of approximately 8 line-kilometers were acquired.
