The scales of the sensing and prediction of bioluminescence represent a significant research challenge. Relevant scales range from 10s-1000s of meters and time scales of days to weeks, capturing bot the physical movement of oceanographic features and the growth and loss terms in the biological communities. Integration into a glider provides the opportunity to measure these relevant scales and use in predictive models. Dataset contains temperature and salinity observations.
