Trails and Features of Phil Bolen Park

This map provides the location of hiking trails and park amenities within Phil Bolen Park, a 405 acre park located outside of Leesburg, Virginia.  It is operated by the Loudoun County Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services (PRCS) and contains both sports complexes and natural areas with over 3 miles of hiking trails.  <div><br /></div><div>The amenity information shown for Phil Bolen Park was collected during a crowdsourcing effort between AOL staff and <a href='https://www.loudoun.gov/120/Mapping-Geographic-Information' target='_blank' rel='nofollow ugc noopener noreferrer'>Loudoun County Office of Mapping &amp; Geographic Information</a> in May 2015<span>.  Crowdsourcing involves groups of volunteers collecting data and information &amp; was specifically undertaken on AOL's Monster Help Day, which is a world-wide event that encourages volunteerism.  </span><span>This was the third collaboration between AOL staff and Office of Mapping &amp; Geographic Information to collect park amenity information in Loudoun County, which occurred in both early 2013 and 2014 on previous AOL Monster Help Days.  </span></div><div><div><br /></div><div><span>For more information on Phil Bolen Park, please contact </span><a href='https://www.loudoun.gov/1284/Philip-A-Bolen-Memorial-Park' target='_blank' rel='nofollow ugc noopener noreferrer'>PRCS</a>.</div></div>
