Data were submitted by the Institut Français De Recherche Pour L'Exploitation De La Mer - Brest as part of the Global Temperature - Salinity Pilot Project (GTSPP). Data were collected using bottle, CTD, profiling floats, and XBT casts in a world-wide distribution
