Stratum boundaries shapefile for the Central and Western Canadian Arctic Aerial Breeding Waterfowl Survey. Also included is a shapefile of the survey transects and a data table with the transect attributes, as well as associated metadata files. This aerial survey was conducted by the Alaska Waterfowl Management Branch of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service between 2005 to 2011 using a single engine, turbine-powered, fixed-wing aircraft to explore the feasibility of using this more cost-effective survey aircraft for regular surveys in the region. The strata covered Banks, Victoria, and King William Islands, as well as portions of mainland Nunavut and Northwest Territories.
