STD and other data from SAMUDERA from 1973-08-11 to 1973-08-26 (NCEI Accession 7400576)
This dataset includes data from 91 stations taken in Indonesian waters with a temperature salinity depths recorder. The data were taken in August, 1973, from the Indonesian research vessel, Samudera, near Gag Island situated about 30 minutes south at 130ºE. They were part of an environmental study carried out by the Bechtel Corporation as contractor for Pacific Nikkel Indonesia, which is affiliated with U.S. Steel. The data were taken with a Plessey model 9060 salinity temperature depths recorder.
