Section 5.04 Mountainside Overlay District
<p></p><p>Along with the <a href='https://storymaps.arcgis.com/stories/1be44ba746d64d96996e2aa42ad39d8b' target='_blank' rel='nofollow ugc noopener noreferrer'><span><em>River and Stream Corridor Resources (RSCR)</em></span></a>, the Mountainside Overlay District (MOD) is a vital implementation tool for <span><em>Chapter 3 - Natural, Environmental, and Heritage Resources</em></span> of the County's <a href='https://www.loudoun.gov/DocumentCenter/View/152285/General-Plan---Combined-with-small-maps-bookmarked' target='_blank' rel='nofollow ugc noopener noreferrer'>2019 General Plan </a>(2019 GP). Chapter 3 of the 2019 GP includes major policy objectives directing the protection of the following resources: "<span><em>Geologic and Soils Resources</em></span>", "<span><em>Forest, Trees, and Vegetation</em></span>", and "<span><em>Water Resources</em></span>".</p><p></p>
