Regional Partnership Grants National Cross-Site Evaluation: Round Three Sites (RPG-3)

To address the far-reaching consequences of adult substance use disorders on families and children, Congress in 2006 authorized, and in 2011 reauthorized, competitive grants to support partnerships among child welfare, substance use disorder treatment, and related organizations. The Children’s Bureau (CB) within the Administration for Children and Families, Administration on Children, Youth and Families at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services established the Regional Partnership Grant (RPG) program, and in 2012 awarded grants to 17 second-cohort (RPG-2) partnerships to implement evidence-based programs (EBPs) to meet the needs of this target population. These data are available as NDACAN dataset 218. As noted in the NDACAN dataset 218 description, CB funded Mathematica Policy Research, along with its subcontractor Walter R. MacDonald & Associates (WRMA), to conduct a five-year cross-site evaluation of the grantees’ RPG projects.
