CTD data were collected in the equatorial Pacific Ocean, during 2006, to service the TAO/TRITON array, a network of deep ocean moored buoys to support research and forecasting of the El Niño Southern Oscillation. The data are used to help calibrate moored conductivity sensors and to study equatorial ocean circulation and water masses.
