The top and bottom hinge (100) members have though-bores with vertical axes. The hinge bolt passes through the bottom hinge member in direct contact with the bore. The hinge bolt passes through the bottom and top bushes (21). The top bush bears against a flange on a sleeve fitting inside the top hinge member (20). The two bushes have a sloping sinusoidal contact line. The general slope of this line is at 82 degrees to the vertical. The angle of the sides of the sinusoidal crests and valleys is from 15 degrees to 25 degrees, especially 20 degrees. There are cutouts in the exposed outer surface of the upper bush to enable it to be turned to adjust the height.
