Patent AT-E400649-T1: [Translated] NEW METHOD FOR INDUCING CELLULAR SENSENCE AND SCREENING METHOD FOR AN ANTI-AGING AGENT

Published by National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) | U.S. Department of Health & Human Services | Metadata Last Checked: September 06, 2025 | Last Modified: 2025-09-06
Transformed cells obtained by transferring into normal cells with a gene encoding a protein capable of phosphorylation of p38 protein, or the p38 protein, a variant of the p38 protein, the kinase domain of the p38 protein, the kinase domain of p38 protein variant or a fused protein containing any of them, are new. Independent claims are also included for: (1) screening compounds using normal cells transferred with a gene to induce normal aging cells or cell aging comprising: (a) contacting with a test substance; and (b) analysis of an aging indication in cells; (2) anti-aging agents thus screened; and (3) anti-aging drug compositions containing the screened compounds which are inhibitors of the p38 protein, or a molecule located downstream of p38 in the p38 MAPK pathway or its fused protein. ACTIVITY : Anti-aging. No biological data is given. MECHANISM OF ACTION : None given.
