Parking and Transit Subsidy Application Tool (PTSAT)
The purpose of the PTSAT Application is to provide a paperless workflow tool that will assist DHS enrollees in the process of applying for transit and parking benefits. There is currently a paper form which is manually filled out and then faxed to the program office. This application tool will eliminate the paper process and faxing requirement. This tool will allow each enrollee to apply electronically and receive approval from their supervisor using the email account system. The system has a backend reporting tool which provides the parking and transit program managers access to maintaining electronic folders and ad hoc reporting functionality. This system will eliminate the manual processing of over 200 applications monthly. It will also eliminate the manual validation of over 2,500 headquarters participants.
