This collection contains documentation, including data documentation (metadata), for Ocean Surface Topography Mission (OSTM)/Jason-2 and Jason-3 geophysical data records (GDR) and associated ancillary and auxiliary data for the missions. Documentation includes user guides and handbooks for the mission data files. The metadata were most recently produced following the International Standards Organization 19115-2 (ISO 19115-2, v. 05/2014) standard and are in XML format. Older versions of metadata are in Federal Geographic Data Committee Content Standard for Digital Geospatial Metadata (CSDGM), Vers. 2 (FGDC-STD-001-1998), format.
