Substations can be within the offshore lease area or onshore. Offshore substations receive power from wind turbine facilities via electric cables and act as a collector to transport the electricity to the export cable and to onshore substations. Proposed project design, review, and permitting is an iterative process, so the final design and buildout of the substations is subject to change. The data may represent different alternative options to be reviewed and the final plan may vary from what is presented here. These data will be updated as new publicly available information is released. Data are provided by the lessee for project planning review and permitting uses.</span></p></div>
