Mutagenicity of Simulated Atmospheres
The data are the number of colonies per Petri plate for all the experiments. The colonies are mutants and are also called revertants (rev)--because the Salmonella mutagenicity assay is a "reverse mutation" assay. The data show the number of colonies (rev) per Petri plate for each experiment for each hour of exposure (1, 2, 4, 8, or 16 hours).
