In 2014, the Children’s Bureau established the Child Welfare Capacity Building Collaborative consisting of the Center for States, Center for Tribes, and Center for Courts. The Collaborative works with child welfare professionals and their jurisdictions to build organizational capacity and help agencies and courts improve their effectiveness. The Center for States builds capacity within public child welfare agencies to help strengthen organizational performance and improve outcomes for children, youth, and families.
