This data set presents raw data that supports the article "Submarine groundwater discharge differentially modifies photosynthesis, growth, and morphology for two species of Gracilaria (Rhodophyta)". This data includes three different tables. The Simulated SGD data table includes data for growth rate, apical tip development, photosynthetic PAM parameters (ETRmax, alpha, EsubK) of the Hawaiian seaweed Gracilaria coronopifolia. A similar data table is presented for the Wailupe field experiment for both Gracilaria Coronopifolia and Gracilaria salicornia. The third data table shows the raw data from the benthic ecosystem diversity assessment.
