<div style='text-align:Left;'><div><div><p><span>All applicants for a Basic Business License operating from a residential location the District of Columbia must provide a Home Occupation (HOP) for the premise address from which the business activity is conducted in order to demonstrate the activity does not conflict with building and zoning codes. A home occupation is a business, profession or other economic activity conducted full- or part-time in the principal residence of the person conducting the business. This permit is required for operating a business from a residential home.</span></p></div></div></div>
