Home-Based Homemaker Services

<DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>These resources help with light housework, errands, tasks, or yardwork to help individuals living with dementia remain in their homes. They are often called “homemaker” services. This list does not include many private housekeeping, landscaping, or handyman companies that may not have specific training to meet the needs of older adults. The services included in this list specifically serve local older adults and are inclusive of those with memory loss or dementia. There are several types of providers who can connect older adult to these services including DC Villages, District Organizations (i.e., Lead Agencies), and Private Agencies."</SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV>
