Published by National Institute of Standards and Technology | National Institute of Standards and Technology | Metadata Last Checked: June 27, 2025 | Last Modified: 2022-10-27 00:00:00
The files include dynamic light scattering (DLS), small angle neutron scattering (SANS), and neutron spin echo spectroscopy (NSE) data that were analyzed in writing the manuscript. The SANS data were collected on the NGB30 SANS and NG3 vSANS instruments at the NIST Center for Neutron Research (NCNR) and have been reduced to absolute intensity using standard procedures. The NSE data were collected on the NGA NSE instrument at the NCNR and have been corrected for the instrument resolution and solvent signal. Together these data were used to analyze the nanoscale bending fluctuations in tail-asymmetric lipid membranes. The files for the different samples are labelled with the same abbreviations for the lipid chemical names used in the manuscript.DPPC: 1,2-dipalmitoyl-sn-glycerco-3-phosphophochloine (di 16:0 PC)MSPC: 1-myrisotyl-2-stearoyl-sn-glycerol-3-phosphocholine (14:0-18:0 PC)SMPC: 1-stearoyl-2-myristoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine (18:0-14:0 PC)
