Three genera of blood parasites (Leucocytozoon, Haemoproteus, Plasmodium) were detected by molecular sequencing of a 479 bp fragment of the Cytochrome-b gene. The data provided in the tables are: 1) age, sex, mass, infection status, and NCBI GenBank accession numbers of the DNA sequences obtained from infected blood samples, and 2) encounter history survival data.
