This layer denotes the presence of archaeology sites utilizing a grid based on the U.S. National Grid (10,000 m) divided into nine sections per 10,000 m grid. The red symbology represents the presence of archaeological sites in that sub grid and the blue represent the absence of presence of archaeological sites in that sub grid.<div><br /><div>Each sub grid is labeled with its placement in the 10,000 m grid, as seen below: <br /><br />NW (Northwest)</div><div>NC (North Central)<br />NE (Northeast)<br />W (West)<br />C (Central)<br />E (East)<br />SW (Southwest)<br />SC (South Central)</div><div>SE (Southeast) </div><div><br /></div><div>Each sub grid is also given a unique name with a naming convention based on the US National Grid and the Placement Label, as seen below:<br /></div></div><div><br /></div><div>(US National Grid)-(Placement Label)<br />18T XM 25-NW<br /></div>
