Surface Urban Heat Island (SUHI) maximum land surface temperature (AVEMaxLST) data is derived from Collection 2 Landsat for Surface Temperature. We calculated the maximum temperature was identified from all clear observations in each seasons. The seasonal maximum temperatures were then averaged to represent the annual mean maximum LST (AVEMaxLST) for a specific pixel. Data are provided across two international urban centers (regions), which include Wuhan, China and Brasilia, Brazil, generated annual AVEMaxLST. The data ranges from 1985-2023, and covers data within ROI tiles that the urban center is located. Note: This is First Outputs (Provisional Release).
